1993 Jaguar 4.0 Litre Jaguar XJS Coupe
1993 Jaguar 4.0 Litre Jaguar XJS Coupe 98000 miles. FSH.
One of the nicest, if not THE nicest XJS’S I have owned. Diamond blue metallic paintwork with Saville Grey leather.
I would easily use this as a daily driver and it is ready to go.
Nothing left to do as it has led a sheltered and easy life( look at the MOT’s), and you can’t say that about XJS’S of this age!
Two long term owners, with virtually full service history in the form of 17 service stamps, most of which are Main Agent, up to 2011, and the remainder in the form of loose invoices with all remedial and important servicing work carried out from then until the present.
The file has MOT’s going back to 1998, which include the actual printed MOT’ s as well as the history shown on the Government website.
Nearly all of the above MOT’s are showing a ‘pass’ with no advisories – exceptionally unusual for an XJS!
The vehicle has just passed another MOT expiring December 2023- with no advisories.
Everything works- power seats, windows, electric mirrors, central locking, powered by an original Jaguar alarm with fob; also included is another key as well as the green valet key.
There is also a Jaguar instructional cassette.
The headlining was changed by a previous owner and is perfect ( covered glass fibre board)
The air conditioning works perfectly and has been updated with Sanden compressor to take R134 gas- received dryer and some hoses were replaced ( all catalogued).
The water radiator has been replaced with a copper one- invoice in the file.
The oil and filter were changed September 2022.
Superb interior with good patina but no wear.
Chrome work and plastic bumpers excellent with no scratches.
The alloys have recently been powder coated and fitted with genuine new centre caps.
Solid condition underneath including subframe and mount areas.
The car runs on four excellent Pirelli Cinturatos which have good tread.
PX welcome with ( especially but not necessarily) Jaguar /Bentley etc.
