1993 Jaguar XJS 4.0 Litre Convertible ( Big Bumpers)

Now becoming quite rare this is a big bumper 4.0 litre XJS convertible. Mileage 119,00 and MOT to February 2022. The last owner had her for 18 years and used her daily. He had her looked after mechanically on a regular basis, testimony to which is the fully stamped (18 stamps) service book ( much of it main dealer) and loose invoices, amounting to many thousand of pounds. The hood was changed in his ownership and it works very well. The air conditioning is being attended to. There are two sets of keys, wallet and codes. The car has just had circa £1000 spent and the invoice is available on request.
The car starts first time, drives without any noises. The gearbox is a bit good but typical of an XJS of this age. It changes up and down very well.
There are some minor chips , but the panel fit is superb.(Paintwork is very good all round).
Underneath the car is very good and there is no water ingress.(Pictures available).
The oil is fresh and a new electric aerial has just been fitted.
Although not totally immaculate, this is a very useable ‘ modern classic’ in the true sense of the word and is an elegant grand tourer.
I am very particular with my descriptions and have lost more sales due to under describing than over describing !
